FREEMO odcinek 1 – SILVER LINING

Season 1 teaser for FREEMO – a short documentary series about freeride mountaineering, where a new guest will join Rafael Pease for a 2 week expedition out of his home, either in the mountains of Alaska or Chile. Season 1 features Nathaniel Murphy, Krister Kopala & a massive big storm!

FREEMO odcinek 2 – THE NORTHMAN

On the second episode of #FREEMO we follow new guest Krister Kopala from northern Norway on his first winter expedition and first time in Alaska with Rafael Pease. The crew spends 2 weeks out on a glacier deep in the mountains, sharing good times climbing steep knife ridges, building massive snow structures and splitboarding to as many lines as possible.

FREEMO odcinek 3 – RESET

On the third episode of #FREEMO we find out that sometimes you can’t win them all and that’s what makes it all so beautiful. The crew faces a relentless storm that lasts longer than originally forecasted, leaving them completely buried multiple times on the glacier.

We go into these places to snowboard snow covered peaks and for this to occur we need strong storms to blanket them. We try to set ourselves up for success but the weather is very unpredictable high up on the glaciers near the fjords and gulf of Alaska, this is the reality of winter expeditions to go ride powder.
