Heikki Sorsa ikona rider pochodzący z Helsinek dołączył do teamu Gloryfy unbreakable!
If you haven’t lived under a rock the last two decades, you should be familiar with the name Heikki Sorsa. From his legendary world record highest air at the Arctic Challenge in Norway with 9.5 meters and his mohawk at the 2002 Olympics, to being the first rider to have his own signature fast food meal and being able to make even the most technical tricks look supereasy and stylish. Ladies and gentleman, meet Heikki Sorsa – one of the most talented snowboarders to ever come out of Finland and the newest rider to join the snowboard-team of gloryfy unbreakable eyewear!
While numerous established riders in the international snowboard scene have come and gone, 34-year old Talma-local Heikki Sorsa still goes as big as ever in the streets, park and backcountry. After a rather quiet season last year, due to him becoming a father and taking some time off the snowboard-scene to be with his wife and kids, Heikki is now back in full effect and ready to go harder than ever! If you needed any more proof of that fact, we would recommend to check out his part in Eero Ettala’s ENDER movie. Heikki is known to be one of the most versatile riders to ever burst on the scene, taking it from the arena to the mountain to the street with ease. Movie parts in some of the biggest productions and contest victories around the globe are a proof for that.
A rider that progressive, stylish and versatile has highest demands to his equipment. With gloryfy unbreakable eyewear, the innovative sunglasses and goggles brand hailing from Austria, Heikki found the perfect partner for his upcoming projects.
What made you join a young brand like gloryfy? I got introduced to the brand and really liked what gloryfy is doing. It really fits my style and their sunglass- and gogglecollections offer exactly what I am looking for: great style, high-tech features and they are unbreakable! What else can you ask for?
